Chingay and Orchard

back back~ went for chingay practice at JAS today. hmm... met ari at the interchange and we set off to JAS without JMD.

When we reached there, we found out that the practice start at 1 end at 3. and when we're there, it's already 2.10. we were just standing at the door watching the senseis dancing. well, we cant go in without our leader right? and we watch how they dance. hmm... it's a very hyperactive dance and looks kinda cute too. hehe. we sat there until JMD reached and a bit here and there wasting time and then finally the few of us were asked to go out of the place to learn from the sensei.

after 1 round of teaching we are ask to try to dance with the crowds. well, i pick up rather fast because we saw them perform 1 time, so have a rough idea how to "hun" [mix] with the dance. so yes after that it was the end of the practice session.

There is an extra session held in the function room too. Whatever happen during the briefing i wouldn't want to mention it anymore. it's tiring...

In the end, we're quite pissed off so we left the place and head off to town. [My dear Ari havent eat anything yet.] Had our lunch at pasta mania: Pizza!

after lunch, we went to taka and outside levis shop, we met Ezzat. So coincidence wor! hehe =X
Since we are so free, we went off to kino to look for my chronicles of narnia series. It cost 63 bucks!! erm.... 7 books lah, but then still dunn have the money T.T

Ari and i decided to go back my house to slack, so we went to cold storages to grab some snacks. Before we went there, i drop by a japanese traditional desserts shop where they sell their traditional "kuek", like jelly, rice cakes and etc. I tell you, it's not only OISHII [delicious], its packaging is "too pretty to be eaten" too! OMG!!! After so many years, it's still my favourite japanese stall! haha...

We bought some of them [too hard to resist, bleahx!] and took some pictures back at my house. Ok, continue, then we bought some chips and sushi. We part our ways with ezzat at the mrt station.

Oh ya, back at the JAS, they are having this mochi making in the atrium. It's a traditional ceremony every year back in japan when a new year starts. interesting fact right? =P
here are some of the pictures that i have taken. It's sad that i din stay until the ceremony officially starts.

We had some fun taking the photos of the mochi that we have bought. It's a waste if we dunn take pictures of it since we are eating them.
